Balderson, manager and director of Borthwicks Ltd., •who, when interviewed regarding the success <?f the New Zealand' consignment of chilled beef by the Port Fairey to London, said that.. it was the most important development of recent years in the cattle, trade, and for a complete revival of the meat industry, as the market for frozen beef was becoming more and more restricted.
