FOURTH FIRE
IN NEW PLYMOUTH HOUSE. (Per Press Association —Copyright).. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 24. A fire broke out in an unoccupied house last night. The alarm was. given shortly after midnight and. when the brigade arrived the. flames had a- good hold and the damage wa s considerable. A neighbour said he heard the sound of a stone landing on his roof and immediately afterwards a- second stone was thrown and. a vojee cried. “Your house is on fire.” As lie rushed out-, lie saw a small car disappearing up the road. Seeing the smoke and flames in the next house, he gave the-alarm. The building has been unoccupied for eight months. The outbreak was the fourth in the same house, the first occurring six years ago, the second two years ago, and-another- as-recently as four weeks ago..
