A BIG INCREASE IN ENGLAND.

The deposits in England’s line clearing banks for the year ended June 30 last increased by 222 millions sterling to 193 S millions. The “Daily Express’’ assumes that the enormous increase shown is due; largely to operations of (lie. £375,000,000 Exchange EcaiaUsation Fund, which has sold sterling in almost unlimited quantities to the foreigners desiring to bring money to London.
