The South Canterbury Hunt Club’s annual 'steeplechase meeting was, held at the Wash-dyke course to-dav. The weather was damp, with light rain falling, and the track was,heavy after overnight rain. The attendance was satisfactory, and the tote handled £6‘,357 10s as against £7,080 last year.
