Stevens of Watar.’oa waited on the executive regarding renewal of prospecting subsidy which.-had. been refused .at the previous mooting. Mr Stevens answered questions in relation to the disposal of .gold and absence from Work without notification. It wag resolved, subsequently, in the meeting, to renew the .subsidy, strict conditions to be enforced.

J. Moore waited on the executive regarding employment. It was staled the young man was under- ago and not eligible for .registration. ■ It was decided to represent the position to the Board, and suggest -a. grant might he made in the case of -cities for the bonejit of unemp'oyed youths, and ill tit's particular case it was - resolved -to recommend him for a. position on the geophysicl (survey when' undertaken. Applications to be called for the work to be done to satisfaction of '■ County Overseer. Camps will be provided, also transport of supplies once weekly; prospecting reports.
