WESTPORT, July 18.

The queen carnival held here in aid of the Mayor’s Unemployment Belief Fund concluded! this evening, when the results were announced by the Mayor, Mr J. Kilkenny. For the occasion the Town Hall and its vicinity were crowded, Mayor Kilkenny, said the results of the competition were: —

Sports Queen, Miss Slee, 94,407; Transport Queen, Miss Morgan, 81,409; Business and Professional Queen, Miss Rees, 32,494. The sum realised is £B6B.
