George (Ling was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment at the Court on a charge of stealing eight nuggets, valued at £5/9/4- from Joseph Devis at Waitila, near- Greymouth, about November 5 last. The Court ordered the nuggets to be -returned to the owner, not to- the person to whom they were sold by Ling.
