CANTERBURY TEAMS
(Per Press Association —Copyright)
CHRISTCHURCH, July 19
The choice of Canterbury Rugby team to represent town versus country, gives an indication of the probable selection of the Ranfurly Shield side. It is : Backs— G. T. Nolan, G. Hart. C. Oliver, W. Brown, R. Hazellmrst, G. Innis, G. Stevens. Forwards—A. Bowes, A. I. Cottrell, R. King, J. Manchester, G. Howell, F. Folev,’ A. Hartnell, A. H. Andrews. A. Brownlee (Linwood) was unavailable and was replaced by Foley. The only surprise is Stevens as half. The forwards are regarded as particularly strong.
The vista of the future seems immense When first the dubious “Gift of Life” we sense; But as the ageing years relentless pass We learn how brief the longest life, Alas! A little praise a little love and mirth, A little wealth which proves of little worth. Yot. still for bronchial il!,s one blessing pure . . Consoling Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure.
