CHRISTCHURCH, July 19,
At. >a meeting of the 'Canterbury Foothal 1 Association it was decided to make an appeal for funds to assist Canterbury Chatham cup finalists to travel to the West Coast. Several members pointed out that if the Duller team won the West Coast final and Canterbury winners had to travel to Millerton for the Canterbury—Westland final, the expense would be considerably heavier than if the match were played at Greymouth. It was resolved to ask the New Zealand council to play the Canterbury—Westland final at Greymouth and to seek the council’s .aid m defraying the Canterbury team’:, expenses
