28 CHINAMEN BEFORE COURT. NEW INTERPRETER DEMANDED. {Per Press Association Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 17. The hearing of charges, nearly all of them under the Gaming Act, against 28 Chrnesh',"'took' an unusual turn in the Magistrate’s Court this afternoon, when Mr E. ,D. Mosley, S.M., expressed dissatisfactiidii " with the interpreter and adjourned ' the hearing until tomorrow to enable another interpreter to be obtained. “I am not satisfied with the interpreter,” he said. “I am going to hare a subpoena issued for another. All I. want is the truth, and I am not satisfied that. I have got it so far.”
