HOCKEY
HOKITIKA SUB-UNION.
A meeting of tbe above was held in Mr Coulson s rooms on Monday at 7 p.m. Present: Mr H. M. Coulson (chairman), and the following delegates : Mrs Diedric-hs and Miss Cron (Jvokatahi), Miss Stapleton and Mrs Eager (Rovers), and Mr Collett (Hokitika).
The minutes of last- meeting were read and confirmed.
A request from, the Association in I Greymouth that the Brook’s Cup game set down lor 'Wednesday, the 19th, be held over until after a meeting of the | association, was agreed to. it was decided that the game Rover A v. Kokatahi lie awarded to Kokatahi by default. Mrs Dicdrichs, Miss Stapleton amt Mr Coulson were appointed a postponement committee.. It was decided that captains of teams submit the names of players to the referee, who will forward same with report on game to the Sub-Association. The following fixtures were drawn fox the 2nd round of the competition : July 19. Rover A v. Kokatahi, No. 2 ground. Hokitika Av. Hokitika B. No. 1 ground. Rover B a bye. July 26. Rover A. v. Hokitika A. No. 2 ground. Rover B. v. Hokitika B, No. 1 ground Kokatahi a bye. August 2, Hokitika A. v. Rover B. No. 2 ground. Hokitika B. v. Kokatahi, at- Kokatahi. Rover A a bye. August 9. Rover A. v. Rover 8., No. 1 ground. Hokitika A. v. Kokatahi, No. 2 ground. Hokitika B a bye. August 16. Rover A. v. Hokitika 8., No. 2 ground. Rover B. v. Kokatahi, at Kokatahi. Hokitika A., a bye. It was resolved that the fixtures as drawn be agreed to and any. postponed, games be played at the end, of,, therdund in order of postponement.'
