WELLINGTON CARNIVAL WEEK

WELLINGTON, July 17
A representative meeting of commercial and social organisations of Wellington this afternoon, presided over by the Mayor, endorsed a proposal for the holding of a National Carnival in Wellington during the week commencing 'October 23. The meeting formed itself into a general committee to further the project which is on a big scale.
