The Returning Officer of the Meat Producers Board has received the following nominations for the three vacancies on tire board for producers’ representatives: H. D. Acklaud (CHristchurch), sitting member; Edward Aver:ll (Hastings), James Carr (Methven), R. S. Chadwick (Dannevirke), .1. 0. Coop ' v Ataahua), Canterbury), W. 1). Lysnar (Gisborne), J. D. Ormond (Hawkes Bay), 'Sir J. Perry (Masterton), a sitting member. The election is on August 31, when the electoral committee assembles at Wellington.
