WASHINGTON, July 15,
The announcement is made that the Uuited States steep industry has filed its code with the Industrial Recovery Administration, setting a minimum wage of from twenty-five to forty cents per hour and with a forty hour week.
Simultaneously with this announce-, ment, eleven prominent steel manufacturers of th? Youngstown (Ohio) district have initiated immediate wage increases of from eight to twenty-five per cent. The increase will (affect one hundred thousand men.
