CLAIM SETTLED
MOTOR FATALITY SEQUEL.

AUCKLAND, July 12
An action, brought by the executors of the late Louis Arnoldson, who died after a motor collision in February has been settled out of court. Prior to the resumption of the hearing to-day, the parties conferred, and subsequently counsel informed the Judge that defendants, the Auckland underwriters
for Lloyds, and the South British Insurance Co., and also a. third company, the General Accident, Fire, and Assur-
ance Corporation, which also bad issued a similar policy to deceased, had agreed to a. settlement, while maintaining their position that deceased’s death was not covered by the accident poli-
cies. The settlement wa s one which plaintiffs considered fair and just. Air Justice Reed: “You cannot be more pleased than I am.”
