OPENED BY PRINCE OF WALES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 11. The Prince of Wales this afternoon jopened two ‘blocks of London’s most up-to-date workers’ flats, erected on wagte ground, on his own Duchy of estate a,t Kensington. The buildings, which ire regarded as a model of their kind,, .are, in the form of a square, with 'balconies round each floor and gardens in tlip centre. ; The design was adopted hh the special instance of the Prince. There ane) included tiled fireplaces, hot water in bathrooms and cashable walls. Three-rooms flats will be rented at--15,3 weekly, and large flat s /at £1 per iwevCc. The buildings will house 92 families. The front of the blocks will Ibe flood-lit at night.
