CONTROL NEEDED
PUBLICATIONS AT UNIVERSITY (Z J er Press Association Copyright.) WELLINGTON, June 28. The action taken by the executive of the Victoria University College Students’ Association to terminate the publication of a magizine by fraction of the students, known a s the Free Discussions Club, -was upheld to-day hy the professorial board. A number of objectors to the magazine considered that its general tone was bringing the whole body of the students into disfavour.
Professor Gould, chairman of the professorial board, said this evening that some control was necessary over the publication which emanated from the University.
