ANNUAL MEETING
.VOLUNTEER 'SOCIAL CLUB.- ' The annual meeting of the Volunteer Social Club was held -last evening in the Prill Hall., it-large attendance of members being present. Capt. C. H. Bleach presided, a«d congratulated the Club on the past very successful year. The annual report and bounce sheet were presented. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted in the following being elected:— President; Capt. C. HI Bleach. V-ice-Presidents ;• Sgt.-Major I MI P. Connolly, Qr.-Sgt. A. Parkhill and Cpl. G. Del bridge. Joint:secretaries ': •Sgt! L, Leslie and Cpb A. SunVner. Committee: Cpls. Walker, Agneiv and Pierson, and Ptea. Richards; Cagney and Chisholm.
were made (Or the animal Military Ball to be held on August 2nd when a volunteer football team representing “B” (Grpymouth) Company will be the 1 guests of the local volunteers. It was decided to'hold the annual Belial on Monday. July 10th, ’ when Staff Sgt, -Major Johnstone of the De■fehee Office, GreymOuth, will be ' the guest o-f the .company. The mee'.ug then terminated with a vote of things' to'tfie dhair.
