FOR SMUGGLED SILVER (Per Press Association Sopyright.) WELLINGTON, June 27. Between forty and ,50 police, and customs officers marched aboard the Marama when the gangway was about to be withdrawn at 9 o’clock this evening, and they immediately began a sear' h for silver. The vessel was to have sailed for Auckland, ; on route for Svdney, but, whim so far unsuccessful, the search was still being continued at 11 o’clock to-nigbt.
