.LADIES’ GOLF CLUB. The L.G.U. flag match played last Wednesday . was won by Mrs Diedrichs. '

During the week Miss Mortland reduced her handicap substantially by returning a : score of 94. She is now on a 19 handicap.

L.G.U. players are reminded that noriiiriatidris for the' July medal matclr, to be played next Saturday, will close on Wednesday (or with the secretary before the draw on Thursday morning). The qualifying round of the club championship will be played in conjunction with the medal match, the first eight scores qualifying. , ;s , t, -w r Unearned.handicap division'. The June medal match in' this' division was won by Mrs B. Andrewes -wlio played G2 nett, reducing her handicap from' 30 to 16 . 'Mrs Andrewes is . playing golf for the first time this season. The best cards handed in were:—Mrs Andrewes 92—30—62; Mrs Warren- 94 _i;V_Bl; Mrs; Mclntyre 96—10—86; Mrs Houston 94 —9—85.

The Juno bogey in this division was won by Miss Wormington with a'splendid card—3 up. The following very good cards were returned: —Miss Wormington 3 up, Mrs Mclntyre 1 down, Miss Stevenson, Mrs Houston and Mm Andrewes. -2 down. Other cards returned showed improvement in play. - *' L
