DAVIS CUP
U.S. TEAM ARRIVES IN FRANCE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received June 24 at 8 a.m.) PARIS, June, 23. “My hoys are going to hav© a. tough time. lam under no illusions,” said Mr Bernon Prentice, manager of the American Davis Cup 1 team, on its arrival at Cherbourg. Hs opinion is that'Britain, Australia, America, and France have all practically an equal chance of winning the cup. Trie American team against the winner of the Anglo-Australian match will probably be VinevS and Allison, singles; Lott 'and Van Ryn, doubles. Mr Prentice added that it would be 1 unwise to attach overmuch importance to Oochet’s defeat by Crawford. The; French team is still formidable.
