They walked to Nelson this morning and a deputation waited on Mr Atmore, member for Nelson. Also present were, the Mayor, the local representatives of the Forestry Department. . . The march in was, throughly orderly. The men were all well behaved. The main objection is J p the- mess 1 - voom.
Mr Atmore promised to make representations to the Government of the complaints put .before him. The men are. 1 being . accommodated by the Nelson Relief Committee at the Y.M.C-.A. to-night. , .So, far no agree- . ' meat has been reached regarding the men’s return to camp . V
