'The functions of the administrative body as outlined, .provide for giving instructions to fanners for the elimination of scrub sires, research work,, the preparation of clips for sale, freights on wool, and dissemination •of information, and contact with other bodies.

Three Alard-erton breeders have contributed the shipment, which included two Romneys, and two, Lin'l coins on account, of Air H. J. Rayner; two -Romneys, 10- Lincolns .and one Corriedale, from Air AV. Rayner; and three Lincolns, on account of Air L. Wilton. The majority 'are champions. This is the thrd- annual shipment mads by these Afasterton breeders, and on each previous occasion the prices they realised in Argentine have been about three times what would have been realised in New Zealand.
