AN ASSAULT
A WOMAN’S INJURIES. (Per Pres'„ Association — Copyright.) . WELLINGTON, June 23. Suffering from a contused wound of the scalp, shock and eye injuries, caused by having pepper thrown in her lace, Mrs M. E. Levy of 114 Richmond St., Peloiie, was taken to the hospital from Petdiic Police Station shortly after one o’clock this morning by the free ambulance. It is understood that Mrs Levy was assaulted at her home, but no further details of the affair are available.
