THE ARCHBISHOPRIC OF SYDNEY[Per Press Association Copyright.) CHENGTAU (China), June 17. Asked whether lie had decided to accept his election as Archbishop of Sydney. Dr. H. W. K. Mowll, Bishop of Western China, stated to-day that he was awaiting the concurrence oi others.
The bishop said lie lias not yet had a reply from the Archbishop ol Canterbury, and the China House of Bishops lias still do give, its decision. “Until then,” Dr. Mowll said, “I am not free to accept.”
