Walker,- who have been working in various parts ot Otago lor some time, have found excellent prospects on a property occupied by C. Lucas at’Tuapeka Mouth, and that claims have been applied lor. 'I he miners have expressed the opinion that the. old river, bed has been struck, and that it is a continuation' of the lead from the Tuapeka Mouth G.M. Company’s claim, which has proved very rich during the last lew months. ' *'-! ■ ■
Jt is also reported that 11. of Tuapeka Mouth, has also met with considerable success in prospecting in the sump locality.
