BENEFIT OF DOUBT
iN CHARGE OF SHOPLIFTING. (Per Press Association— Copyright). AUCKLAND, June 13. A charge of shoplifting against a young farmer was dismissed by the Court to-day. Shop assistants said that the accused man was found with articles inside his coat. He had been a customer of the firm for a long time. The defence contended that a grave mistake had been made.
