The retirement of Mr George Judah Cohen, chairman of directors of the Commercial Banking Company; • Sydney, is announced. Mr Cohen . has been chairman since 1901. Associated with the bank for forty-eight years, he is regarded as an outstanding financial authority. The. Hon. Jam'es Ashton, M.L.C., succeeds to the .position.
