The Pope successively received exKing Al.onso and Mr de Valera (President of the Irish Free State excutive.) The Pope conferred on Mr de Valera. the Grand Cross of Pius Ninth, one of the highest Papal orders, for merit in connection with the Dublin Euchaxistic Congress.
