All legal matters having been settled alter five months of patient woik, die Amalgamated Kawarau, Ltd., will probably issue its prospectus inviting capital for the construction of the new dam below t.he A,rrow next month, states the “Otago Daily Times.” The Kawarau still remains one of the biggest gold mining ventures ever undertaken in- Otago, and Mr H. Credgington, one of the directors, stated that the company was very optimistic. Events leading to finality in the legal matters concerning the Mines and Public Works Departments and the landholders, had been slow, naturally, but greater progress from now on could be expected.
