SWISS 'PROHIBIT WEARING. BERNE, May--27., The Swiss Federal Council has passed a decree for -bidding, after May 18, the wearing of any uniform, badges, armbands, or- other -signs denoting membership of a political organisation, Swiss or foreign. The penalty for a Swiss subject violating thi,s .law is a fine of up v 1000 Swiss francs (approximately £lO at par), and, for a second offence, six months’ imprisonment, and a further fine of 5000 francs, while foreigners may, in -addition, be prohibited from living in Switzerland for 10'years.
