FATAL SHOCK
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER DEAD BRISBANE, May 20. Mrs Edith Crimins, aged 39, the proprietress of a boarding liiuSe at Townsville, Queensland, and Jj'or daughter, Ray, aged 13, were electrocuted. Early in the evening Mrs Crimins and her daughter went to the rear of the house to wash down a motorcar in, readiness to attend a wedding next lpoming. Some hoarders were inside the house playing cards. About 11.10 o'clock one of them went to the rear oj the house and found tile mother arid daughter lying on the ground. Both, were d,ead. Alongs'iie their bodies was an electric extension from the kitchen which had been passed through a window to give,, fight to the washing operations. It is presumed tlpit the girl was electrocuted and that the another went to her. assistance aud.mot her death also. It is believed that they , were dead for some hours before, being discovered.
