'' An unusual case, the first of us kind in the district, was brought iii’ ! tlie Police Court this morning by the Wliangarei Acclimatisation .Society rigaiiist Clifford Payne,who owns charged with shooting a; pheasant from a motor-cycle ..A-.charge of discharging a firearm oii’a public road was dismissed.
