WOMAN'S FALL AT THEATRE. (Pur Press Axsovuiti'j' / 'j — Copyright.} WELLINGTON, May 25. Claims totalling £825 11s were made by Samuel Thomas Jones, furniture maker, and liis wife, against Kembail Theatres Ltd., proprietors or- the Do Luxe Theatre, arising from an accident that occurred at that theatre on April 9th hist year, when the woman, through mistaking the door, stepped into a darkened room, where the floor was 2ft 6in below- the passage level. In falling she suffered concussion and scalp injuries. Mr Justice MacGregor, in the Supreme Court to-day, found that there had been no negligence on the part of the theatre proprietors, or its servants. The woman, he said, had unfortunately gone beyond the door to which she was directed.
