A preponderance of old ; cows - again formed the main cattle sections and these were difficult to quit, the majority being passed. The ioliowing sales were recorded For J. G. Meharry 15 wethers at 15s 3d, 27 lambs at 11s 3d; for V. Bonar 7 ewes and wethers at 16s 3d, 10 ewes at 7s; For T. J. Meharry, at 16s; for Miss Gumming, 20 f.m. Romney ewes at 10s; for T. Ecclesfielci, 16 ewes ar 10s 9d; for a client, 4 porkers at 12s 3d; for R. Mulholland, 2 heifers (small) £1 10s, 2 dry cows ht £l, for P. Jones 1 cow’at £4 os; for C. M. Harirs, 3 runners at £2 15s, is do at £1 18s 6d, 5 vealers at £1 os; for D. Bunt, 3 heifers at £2 7s 6d; for M. Wallace, 3 dry cows at £1 15s, 1 do at £1 10s, 1 do at £l, 1 do at 16s; for W. Kelly, 1 cow and calf £1 15s; for R. Houston, 12 steers passed at £o • for a client 4 bullocks at £5 10s, 1 heifer at £3, 3 cows at £3 15s.
