PLANE MISHAP
PILOT AND PASSENGER
UNINJURED,
AUCKLAND, May 18
A Moth aeroplane, belonging to' tlm l Auck/.uud 'Aero Club ".balled” when about to loud at Mangore Aerodrome in-Guy. The wings and propeller of the machine were extensively damaged, hut the pilot, Mr V. Saleh, and a passenger, although shaken, were not injured. As scon as the engine- stalled’ the aeroplane reared up on its nose and fell on its back. The damage is fairly extensive, and repairs are expected to take or three weeks. Mr S.alek was returning front Te Arolia, where h e took part in the air pageant.
