NOTICES OF MOTION,

1.. The Chairman to move: “That the accounts for the month of April, ;;s revised by the Finance Committee, amounting to £l4Ol 8s 3d, be now passed for payment.” »

3,. The Clii.iir.nan to move :—“That pursuant to the provisions of the Rating Act, public notice be given of the, intention of the Council to make and levy on the 11th. July next, a general rate of four farthings in the £, .on the capital value of all rateable property in the Ridings, mmoci ively, namely, Northern, Central and Southern, of the County of Westland; such general rate to lie for the period commenced on the Ist. day of April, 19.33, ond ending on the 31st. day of March, 1934, and to become payable in one instalment on the 12th. day of- July, 1933; and that notice be given of a’rebate being allowed on the foregoing rates paid within the statute l'y period.”
