QUESTION OF PARTY POLITICS.

Participation in party politics of returned soldiers’ associations is a question entirely for determination atthe annual conference of delegates, according to a statement made by Mr ft. H. Sutherland, president of the, ■Auckland Returned Soldiers’ Association “There seems to be a mistaken idea abroad,” said Mr Sutherland, “that the Auckland Returned Soldiers’ Association intends to take immediate political action in order to expedite the passing, of measures requiring legislative action.
