INQUEST VERDICT
RESULT OF CYCLE COLLISION

At an inquest on IVm, Graham, otherwise known as H-opeta Kereama, 33, married, a Maori, of Awahuri. who died following a. collision between two motor cycles on the main Fe! di n pj- Bu 111 i v 11 1 or pc road on February 14, it was stated that one machine was ridden by Gordon Leslie Thompson and the other by Sydney Graham, who was accompanied by tlie deceased and -another Maori.
After lengthy'evidence, the Coroner returned a verdict that death was due to laceration of the brai n following a collision. HE said, the evidence re-
vealed that the Maori party were in an intoxicated condition. Sydney Graham wins apparently unfit to have charge of a machine and was not licensed. There was no light on the machine. Apparently the accident was ranged through the condition of Sydney Graham.
