JUDGE ATTACKED STERN ACTION TAKEN IN lOWA (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) MONTREAL, April 27. At Lemurs, in the State of lowa, a crowd of one hundred farmers dragged district Judge Bradley from his courtroom. They slapped him and then carried him, blindfolded, in a motor lorry to crossroads one mile away Here they put a rope fl 'round ’ liis’ neck and choked him to partial unconsciousness. They smeared Ilia face with grouse, and finally stole his trousers. The abduction occurred after Judge * Bradley had refused to s.wenr that Jve would sign no more farm mortgage foreclosures.
