Herriot told his press conference to-night that a Franoo-American tariff truce may soon fie arranged. -He stated that France and the United States had also 'reached understandings during the evening on principles of disarmament and on security in the concluding conversations. BRITISH SECURITY PLAN. GENEVA, April 28. The Bureau of the Disarmament Commission has -decided to shelve for the present Part One of the British Plan, concerning security. This ‘ decision is .reported to be associated with

the (Franco-Ameri.can conversations, which, it is rumoured ; will possibly relievo 'France’s /anxiety in connection with security.
