JUSTICE McCARDIE, INQUEST VERDICT. (United Press Association—By Electric . Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 29 at 8 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. Suicide while in unsound mind, was the verdict on Justice McCardie. His personal clerk gave evidence, that McCardie bad three attacks of influenza since January Ist., and disregarded entreaties to-rest but recently stayed indoors to, recuperate. He complained that temperature frustrated his sleep. Gloom and melancholy replaced his habitual cheerfulness. PRICE OF GOLD. LONDON, April 28. The price of gold is £6 2s 6d.
