CHRYSANTHEMUMS
ALL SAINTS’ ANNUAL SHOW. A meeting of the Chrysanthemum Society was held last night when Mr if. 'Groufsky was in the chair. Arrangements for the forthcoming show 'were made, and the following were appointed;—Flowers, Mr Will. Bradbury (Christchurch) • Vegetables, Sir Boddington (Koiteirang.) ; cooking, Mr Harker; lan c y-work. Mrs -• ••can; school work, Mr Hughes. Mr Bradbury wrot e offering special pwo piuzes which were allotted to the following:—Four roses to Class 6, four roses to Class 16, four roses to Class 19, targe packet sweet pens to Class 20, four dahlias to Class 22, sweet peas to Glass 23, four dahlias to Class 24, six. carnations to Class 28, six carnations to Class 50, four dahlias to Class 52. A fountain pen has also been donated and was awarded to most points in vegetables, Class 30 to 45. rViessrs Newman's Motor 6 have kindly pl.ced .a car at. the disposal of the committee on Show day, and iaiiy one wishing their exhibits collected kindly notify the secretary. It was decided, that entries for the Oat 'bloom '.section close on Tuesday night at 8 o'clock.
