Allison (Kumara) have been re-elected unopposed to the office of Mayor of their respective boroughs. At Rpss theic will be two candidates for The ' office Messrs T. W. Bruce (present mayor) and J. Otira Tunnel.—lt ds’.now practically arranged that the train Tor Otiin on Celebration 'Day will start from Riiatapp at 6.15 a.m.. and from the railway station from Ross to ‘Connect with these trains, and intending passengers should give their names to the driver, so as to ensure the coach proprietors providing the necessary accommodation.
