BOY ESCAPES LIGHTLY. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 27. A boy had a miraculous escape when he fell from tho platform of a carr.agj of 'the /vVanganui: express at Pa tea The lad, Stanley Martin, a pupil of the Haw era Technical High School, was found in a dazed condition .by two of his schoolmates, wire were walking back after leaving the train. Apparently lie had fallen off as the train swung round a bend .into the station. 'He was unhurt 'except fo r a few bruises and scratches.
