A special meeting of the Hokitika Women's Institute to meet the Dominion Secretary,, was held in the Soldiers’ Hall. on Saturday evening. Invitations. ha<] been , extended to , the neighbouring institutes to be present,' and there was quite a representative gathering from Woodstock, ■ Acahura Valiev and 'the Alori Pah.
