ZURICH, April 3. The Technical press all the world over took the thing seriously, because he exhibited papers purporting to prove that the British Admiralty had adopted has invention. The whole thing has turned out to be a hoax, and people who had lent him up' to a total of 40,000,000 -Swiss francs (±11,600,000 -at par) set the police on hi s track.
