A new deve.opnieiit in the clieeie situation lreie is that a number of lactories have conskieied a scheme for co-operative -marketing, whereby their clierse might be pooled and offered to London merchants in such a way that iU might be possible, to obtain a better prices than the general level ruing for New Zealand cheese.
Tile South Island Dairy Association has been approached with a request to call a meeting of dairy factory directors to consider the proposal and a meeting will be held here on Friday.
