Capain Leonida itobbiaiiQ,. of the Italian Air .. Force, wha hopes tp make , a record flight to Australia, has. phst'poned the start of his flight until April 7,~ when lie will have-., a-.full moon.
In the meantime he is returning to Italy for a few days, and will spend tlie time further improving -his- aeroplane. Captain Eobbiauo intends to drop a wreath in memory of Mr BertHinkler over the Alps, where lie believes the lost airman’s body dies.-' i . The French squadron’s search for Mr Hinkler in the Avallon district of France has been abandoned pending further, clues.
Captain Hope says that,- if Mr Hinkler came down on.the Alps, -thpre would be little chance of finding him when th,3 thaw commences.
