REMNANTS OF BOX FOUND

The broken remnants of a street collectors box, such as was used in Mayor’s Appeal on Friday, wore found yesterday in Oxford Terrace. The police are investigating in the hope of ascertaining to whom the- box belonged. The organised states that discrimination was used in the issue of boxes. On Friday two or three* people who offered to assist, were refused boxes for various reasons, and it would greatly lie regretted if any collector proved unworthv of their trust.
